To clean the Exoform Dorsal Night Splint, wash by hand in a mild detergent and cold water. Avoid bleach and strong detergents. Do not use a washing machine. Lay the brace flat on a towel and allow it to air dry. Do not wring out or squeeze the brace or place it in a dryer or use another heat source of any kind.

The Exoform Dorsal Night Splint is not intended for prolonged walking or weight-bearing. Ambulation while wearing the Exoform Dorsal Night Splint should be kept to a minimum.

The Exoform Dorsal Night Splint has been pre-shaped to provide the optimal degree of stretch to the foot. In situations where a more customized level of stretch of the foot is required, the Exoform Dorsal Night Splint shell can be modified by hand to either increase or decrease the foot's angle and degree of flexion. When modifying the shell's angle to increase or decrease the foot's stretch, the product should be held and bent in such a way as to create a bending point at the midsection of the shell in the area of the heel strapping. The shell is not intended to be repeatedly bent and modified as this will adversely affect product integrity.
