Why is the Early Warning Sensor Pad from Skil-Care diagonally tapered? Does it make a difference in how it is placed under the user's mattress?
The diagonal shape of the Skil-Care Early Warning Sensor Pad is designed to activate the alarm before the user exits the bed. The sensor pad initiates the alarm when the user moves toward the edge of the bed. For the user who exits the bed on the left side, place the diagonal edge facing the left side of the bed. Those who exit the bed on the right side place the diagonal edge facing the right side.
Can the Early Warning Sensor Pad from Skil-Care be used with an alarm system other than Skil-Care Alarm?
Do not use the Skil-Care Early Warning Sensor Pad with any other brand alarm system. Use an alarm unit provided by Skil-Care Corporation.
